Rear Window Tinting
Rear window tinting covers the rear side windows and rear screen, the windows UK law lets you tint to any shade. It is the most popular option for privacy and for keeping children and passengers shaded, and you can choose anything from a light smoke to a full limo black.

Privacy tinting uses darker films to stop people seeing into your vehicle, protecting passengers, valuables and equipment from prying eyes. It also cuts heat, glare and UV. We fit it to the windows where dark tint is legal and advise on lighter films for the front of the car.

Common questions
What is the legal tint limit in the UK?
The windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows at least 70%. There is no limit on the rear side windows and rear screen, so these can be tinted as dark as you like.
How long does tinting take?
Rear windows on most cars can be done within a few hours. We will give you a time when you book.
Can I wind my windows down straight away?
No. Leave the tinted windows closed for a few days while the film cures. We will give you full aftercare advice when you collect.
Do you tint vans and commercial vehicles?
Yes. We tint van cabs, rear and side windows, and fleets of vans and minibuses, and can work to a schedule that keeps your vehicles off the road for as little time as possible.
Will the tint bubble or peel?
Quality film fitted to clean glass should not. Small water pockets can appear in the first few days while the film cures and normally clear on their own. We will tell you what to expect when you collect.
